About this deal

He is also the most noted author in the history of the Printz Award, with one win and two honour books, for Revolver, The Ghosts of Heaven and Midwinter Blood. And while there are some darker themes (mainly at the beginning of the book) this is not a dark romance. I would consider Kiss of Death to be almost "monster-lite" - the MMC is supposed to be monstrous (he is Death, after all), which I like, but he’s also supposed to be gorgeous? Heck realises that there’s another player in this game of cat and mouse, and this time, they’ve not just caught the prize: they’ve made sure no one else ever does.

FMC is awful and spineless, nothing happens literally at all through the whole book, no excitement, no emotion and over all just a waste of time. the heroine was also very flat and one-dimensional, and had the personality of a wet blanket except for one (1) outburst which didn't even last that long. The reading level and subject matter are appropriate for early teen girls, and while there is a fair amount of misdirection, there is, in the end, also not much of a mystery per se to solve. The situations in which Scarlett finds herself — both the amusing ones and the frightening ones — are exciting, the Scottish setting adding an atmosphere of adventure and intrigue. I don't know why I was fascinated by these stories, but maybe simply because I find them to be more glamorous than contemporary stories.

With the body count rising, DI Caroline Hills and DS Dexter Antoine need to uncover the link before more innocent people die. If you're looking for a short and captivating read to escape reality, a touching love story with a drop of pain, then this one is for you. Whilst this presents a very welcome opportunity for them to get out of Morganville and away from the nasty Morley Vampire it also comes with the unexpected downside of Oliver accompanying them as chaperone. Regardless, there was no indication that this was a children's book yet it is clearly aimed at 8-10 year olds. Rachel Caine is the author of over thirty novels, including the bestselling Morganville Vampires series.

a must read, anyone will enjoy this book, something for everyone of all ages i love these book, they are way better than the twilight books more in them. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file.at about 51% the story very suddenly changes pace and abandons almost all of the characters from the first half of the book which was pretty off putting.
