I have only ever seen one of these it had the serial number 001194 and I only have two pictures and don't quite The dial of this watch is a rather interesting one as it is divided into several sections. These are liquid crystal displays, also known as LCDs. Most digital watches have one large LCD screen, but the fact that this one is divided into sections helps make each function easily distinguishable but also gives it greater depth.

Officially, the watch is a part of Casio's World Time series. This comes across very clearly in this watch. The splitting of the screen is mostly done with this function in mind. The top left circular section always shows your home time. While the small section at the top right is there for the mute indicator, the section under it shows a world map and highlights the selected time zone, which is used in some of the functionality. Powered by a Casio 3299 Module, with an accuracy of -/+30 seconds a month and has a 10 year battery life. As is visible here, the light is not entirely even, but it works well and I much prefer it to the likes of lume and tritium. remained in production until the mid 90s. The whole watch is plastic, including the dial window. There aren't any major flaws with the finishing of the plastic, although the seams are left fully visible.

AE from 11 to 1800 and perhaps even some SG models.I just found this AE-11 in red.... which is not a standard colour. Looks blimmin To be precise, the watch has modes for alarms, a timer and a stopwatch. I do not know how well the alarms work as they are not a feature that I would use, but the timer and stopwatch seem to work fine, although the timer is limited to 24h from what I can tell.

The lugs of the case are very small but stretch out from the case through a curvy design. On the top of the lugs, we have the text ”World time”. The place where the lugs are attached is 18mm, but the bracelet has a width of 24mm where the bracelet is attached. However, I have always been hesitant to get one due to size concerns and the plastic build. Whilst watch enthusiasts tend to favor mechanical watches, there is just something special about throwing on a funky digital watch. Plus, in many cases, it can be more practical considering all their helpful functions. And in the case of the Casio AE1200WHD-1A, there are also times when you want to wear something affordable so that you don’t have to worry about getting scratches or damages. Oh, and by the way, the Casio AE1200WHD-1A has a price tag of about 20 USD.
